Email Notification of Received Supporting Documents
After being out all day (in an attempt not to check my email every 5 minutes) I got this notification in email today (don't get excited its not an approval yet.)
"Dear Applicant
Your passport and supporting documents have arrived safely at this office and are currently being processed. Our normal processing time for mailed applications is 5 working (Monday -Friday) days. You will receive further notification by e-mail once the visa has been issued.
Please do not call this office for an update unless we have exceeded this time frame.
Regards
New York visa team.
This is an automated message - do not respond to this email address as incoming mail is not answered. If you need to reply telephone the office dealing with your application, quoting your reference number.
***********************************************************************************"
From what I've gathered from the UK-Yankee forum, after this notification I will received an email notification of my visa approval anywhere from tomorrow unti sometime next week. So more waiting but at least I know they're processing it!
