Things Are Finally Happening!
* I got my birth certificates in the mail on Monday (got 2, one to take with me, send to immigration etc, and one to keep with my dad)
* Pete got a call today from the warehouse that he went to the orientation day on Friday for, he starts tomorrow at 6am - but ITS A JOB!
Have a little rant, before he got the call for the job he went to the Job Centre to sign on to Jobseekers. We already knew that he couldn't claim any extra benefit for me (because I'm not a resident or anything) but we thought he'd be allowed to claim for himself (its his right as a British citizen, correct?) NOPE! Apparently if I was in the country he could claim himself but not me (like we thought) but since I'm not he was told he couldn't even claim HIMSELF WTF?! Anyway, the call saved the day to another crisis averted!
Since he got this job he can now write his letter of support for my immigration application, get a letter from them stating when he started and his pay, and then send all his stuff to me to send in to the British Embassy
